Counseling Goals and Interests

After many years in another career, I felt God leading me in a new direction, toward the counseling profession. I approach counseling from a Christian viewpoint, believing that God is the ultimate source of hope, love, change and healing.

My heart-felt desire is to help you gain control of your own life and experience a better quality of life. I offer clients a caring, safe environment, provide tools to help them face life's challenges, and work with them to uncover meaning in their experiences.

Working with clients who have many different types of concerns, I have several areas of special interest:

  • relationship issues
  • parenting
  • life transitions for adults and teens
  • anxiety and stress
  • grief and loss
  • marriage and premarital counseling
